Hello CWC,

I am considering selling my recently acquired Vacheron Constantine Overseas 3rd generation, Reference:4500V/110A-B483. This is the newest and by far the best Overseas model VC has ever produced and makes its competitors, the PP Nautilus and the AP Royal Oak, look like they need to step up their game. This generation is a huge improvement in every way but most notably the new movement (made in-house by VC specifically for this model) and is visible though the display case back, and nice to see the movement fill and match the case.

Huge innovation and uniqueness of this model is the snap-on bracelet changing system. No tools are required to change straps, no more scratching up the case while changing straps, and it takes literally 3 seconds to change the strap. The watch also comes with an alligator leather strap, and a rubber strap with a separate deployant clasp (This itself is a value of 2K).

I purchased the watch brand new directly from an authorized dealer earlier this month January 2020. Just over a week old. Comes as full set of course with a wonderful box and all papers.

The watch is like new in box, I wore it for a week and tried all the straps and the watch is still like new in box, I just inspected it and there is not a mark anywhere. Huge plus over the competitors, which scratch super easy, this VC is way more robust and meant for daily wear and does not scratch easily.

The case is a perfect 41mm, 11mm thin, black dial (released in 2018 ), and water resistant to a depth of 150M.

All links are removable on the bracelet, and the bracelet also features a micro adjustment, so it’s very easy to get the perfect fit for any wrist. To wear the watch on bracelet is super comfortable and quality of bracelet finishing is superb.

The movement, caliber 5100, is spectacular, the finishing is outstanding, and bears the Hallmark of Geneva on the movement and case. 22K gold rotor, the power reserve is 60 Hours. The movement is antimagnetic to 25,000 A/m.

The watch keeps amazing time, about +1 sec to +2 seconds per day.

The discounts are increasingly disappearing also with Vacheron Constantin as competitors move to boutique only model, restrict supply, and closing ADs and more people are looking at alternatives. This model retails for about 28K (retail plus tax).

Price here is $22,500.
(Speaking of value, for basically BLRO money one can buy an amazing sports model from a holy trinity brand.)

I am open to meeting F2F but can also ship overnight FedEx and fully insured with Parcel Pro. Many references available on this forum.

Thanks for looking.

Lots of interest in this watch, three offers that were almost there but the watch is still available, for now.

Helping you decide I am reducing the price to 22,150 shipped insured.
Or 22k if you are picking it up.

The AD told me that there is a price increase coming March 1, 2020 from VC. I don't take these sayings from the AD seriously and neither should you until it's realised but in any case, just throwing it out there.
