A nice, clean example that would be ideal for someone looking to buy their first vintage Omega watch. This Geneve is in very nice overall condition and has been serviced recently.
Dial: original, champagne colour sunburst dial in excellent condition. Applied two tone markers and Omega sign.
Movement: 17 jewel manually wound cal. 601 movement. Adjusted to two positions.
Service: the watch was serviced in January 2018. I have included three pictures taken by the watchmaker during/after servicing. A service receipt will be provided with the sale.
Case: gold plated bezel and stainless steel case back.The case is in very good condition overall; however, the case back has been polished (hence, no "Waterproof" mark).
Crown: replaced during servicing with the correct, Omega signed crown.
Serial Number: 27,xxx,xxx - dating this particular watch to ~ 1969
Reference number: 135.041
Very nicely sized for a vintage watch at just under 35mm without the crown and just over 37mm with the crown.
The watch is paired with a brand new leather strap.
