Offered for sale is a vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille that dates to the late 1960s.
Original, unrefinished sunburst dial is in excellent condition. Applied markers and Omega logo. Original hands with lume intact.
The one piece, unishell case is 14k gold filled and is very well preserved. The watch was a service award given to an employee of General Motors in 1968.
Inside is an automatic movement, which I am fairly certain is a cal. 550 as it is the non-date model. The movement has to be removed through the front of the case, which requires the removal of the crystal and bezel. The split stem crown also has to be separated and removed by force, which is something I would prefer not to do to avoid potentially damaging the movement. The watch winds smoothly and is keeping good time so I presume the condition of the movement is consistent with the rest of the watch.
