FS: Wittnauer Professional Chronograph 7004A

Up for sale, because one truly cannot collect them all, is my recently serviced Wittnauer Professional Chronograph ref 7004A. For those who know vintage watches, this beauty needs no introduction. From a Hodinkee write up:

Wittnauer chronographs are enjoying growing popularity among vintage collectors who enjoy their tool watch looks and nice proportions. The reference 7004A is a good example, as its 40mm size looks and feels great on the wrist. The contrast between the matte black dial and the rotating burgundy bezel creates a distinctive look for this chronograph powered by the trusted Valjoux 7733 caliber. The dial displays a tachometer and a regatta countdown, showing that this watch was indeed meant for serious professional use. If you love watches that look great and were meant to be truly used as functional tools, this Wittnauer is for you.

This one is in very good condition. The case has one noticeable ding by the top right lug but otherwise the light scratching one would expect from a watch of this era. It was serviced by Shane Ede and then by Ming as Shane couldn't get the chrono pusher to work. Ming replaced the part (Internal) and it now runs well (I have the original part if you want it). The pushers and crown and crystal are, as far as I know, original. It comes on a grey NATO strap.

I am asking $3500 for this one.

I can meet for a F2F in Toronto. I can also ship if paid in advance but I would prefer to do that once we've had a phone conversation. I have references on MWR and elsewhere if required.

Thanks for looking.
