Selling an iconic Seiko 6105-8009 diver dating to June 1970.

I’ve owned this particular example for several years. There are ton of reasons why the symmetrical case version of the 6105 is so compelling: 41mm case, bulletproof movement, beautiful utilitarian dial and bezel, and signed crown.

This particular example is in decent original shape showing patina commensurate with a tool watch that’s more than 5 decades old. I’ve owned several 6105’s and this one appears to be as original as they come. Lume plots and hands have the usual corrosion which ought to clean up reasonably well based on my experience with other 6105’s in this condition. Case is in nice overall shape with usual minor bumps but appears to never have been polished. Bezel is the bidirectional tension style (specific to the 8000/9 symmetrical case version) and works as expected. Signed crown is non-locking (which is correct). Crystal has some gouges but I’m including a replacement as well as 2 sets of seals, if the next owner decides to go that route.

Sold with a brand new 19mm Strapcode chocolate bar strap as well.

Service history is unknown but it’s been thumping away at +10 secs a day on my winder. YMMV as it’s a +50 year old watch.

Selling for $1750. No trades, thanks.
Please no lowballs.
Thanks for looking!
