People who know me know that I like to find special watches when possible and offer them to serious collectors. This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 25940SK.00.D002CA.03 is no exception. This watch is special for many reasons which will be listed below:

(1) This watch is Canadian purchased. That's right, it was purchased from Royal De Versailles in 2013 which is the only AP authorized dealer in Canada. There will be no issues travelling internationally with this watch as you have proof it was purchased in Canada.
(2) This watch has a clear 2 owner history.
(3) This watch is in excellent unpolished condition
(4) This watch is a second generation rubberclad which was only produced for 1 year before it was discontinued. The first generation —typically referred to as the 'original old school' Royal Oak Offshore Rubberclad— was produced between 2002 and 2012 and the second generation —referred to as the 'last one'— was produced from 2012 through the end of 2013 (for only one year) and was then discontinued in 2014 with the release of the in-house offshore. While both generations bear the same reference 25940 and are fitted with a 42 mm case, subtle nuances differentiate the first from the latter. The first generation is more simple looking, doesn't have any white gold surrounds or borders on the chrono registers or numerals and is equipped with a white calendar disc. The second generation (which this example is) has the white gold surrounds and matching black date wheel disc. The white gold surrounds really add some oomph to the watch and extra shine. The black date disc blends in perfectly.
(5.a) The original owner of this watch purchased it in 2013 from RDV. In 2014 he had a minor issue with the watch which was fixed under warranty. He was unimpressed that the AP service center took 6 months to fix his watch under warranty and he complained to the service manager. The service manager responded and granted him 8 years of additional warranty....that's correct THIS WATCH STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL AP WARRANTY which is valid throughout 2020 (please see picture of letter from AP service manager)
(5.b) But that is not all.......the service manager granted him a FREE SERVICE AT ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE after the warranty period expires. Easily a $2000 value for you to take advantage of and have complete peace of mind for many years to come.
