I seem to have been on a buying spree lately and some of the watches that don't get worn have to go. See write up and description below. This example is in excellent condition with no scratches, dings etc. Hardly worn and very hard to come by. It will come with the original plain cardboard box and paperwork. Mounted on a used military black nylon strap, used but still quite serviceable. Reduced to $550 shipped Canada Post Xpress anywhere in Canada. Payment by E-Transfer. This was released in exceptionally limited numbers in steel and PVD coating (a reported 300 of each variation) for retail by BEAMS. The Benrus Type II was exclusively only available in BEAMS Stores and they only made 300 of them and sell on Japanese auctions for $1500.00 sometimes. They are Swiss quartz and 10 ATM watches, stamped “BEAMS+” on the back for the BEAMS Stores.

THE DIAL - The best bit about the re-edition is the dial. The type two is almost a clone of the original MIL-W-50717, swapping over only the original radioactive tritium lume for a now super-powerful luminova luminous compound.
