***Rolex has recently formally asked AD's to remove all stickers before selling a watch***
Offered for sale is a LNIB 116234 datejust with the recently discontinued hidden clasp. This watch was purchased this month September 2019 from a Canadian AD. The condition is like new with stickers removed by AD.
Sometimes I get a feeling that a watch will increase in value or at least hold its value better than others. I get that feeling with this recently discontinued piece and I am seeing it on the secondary market. Simply put, collectors prefer the hidden clasp. If you are buying a datejust 36 on jubilee it would be a shame not to have this clasp as it is very attractive. As of now the only way to get a hidden clasp on a current production model is to buy a day-date which costs 4x the price. In my opinion the blue roman fluted is the nicest combo.
