Up for your consideration is an absolute rare treat. A virtually New Old Stock Rolex Polar Explorer 16570 which includes everything like if you went into a time machine to 1999 and bought the watch from a Rolex AD.
The story goes that Petars Jewellers of St. Catharines, Ontario was a Rolex AD back in the day, but they lost their AD status from Rolex. The owner had a stockpile of brand new Rolex watches and just put everything in the safe for many years. Fast forward to most recently, the owner started selling off his remaining stock. I came to acquire this watch from a member on this forum, but now realize that I'm too afraid to wear this watch, and prefer not to have it sit in the safe, or to keep it like a museum piece.
As you can see from the pics, there are no scratches on the bezel or the bracelet. The chamfers on the lugs are razor sharp. The caseback is stickered. There is a small nick on the bottom right lug that I tried to capture in a close up. I'm not sure how it got there, because it is obvious that this watch has never been sized or worn in the wild. But it is there, and not really noticeable, especially in person.
This full set comes with everything pictured, with a warranty certificate that is UNNAMED, but dated for July, 2018. The sales receipt shows it was purchased on July 7, 2018.
Offered to you at a price of $9500 for a f2f transaction in the GTA. I'm open to trades, but mainly for Rolex sports models.
