This is a near mint and very rare example of the Rolex 16610lv green submariner. It is a safe queen and was hardly worn. There are some light swirls on the sides of the case and bracelet. To the best of my knowledge and the previous owner (who owned it for 10 years) the watch was never polished but I will let the pictures do the talking.
You may ask what makes this watch an ultra rare grail?
1. Flat 4 bezel. You will notice the tip of the 4 in "40" is flat and not to a point. This ultra rare bezel was only produced for about 12 months on the earliest examples. This is the main reason for the huge collectors premium here. Also, mk1 dial.
2. The serial is a "F0 serial" That's right...this is one of the first F serials to be made. Super rare and interesting. 2003 = F serial which was the true anniversary year (first year) for this watch.
3. This is a Canadian watch with unsigned papers from an Ontario AD. Become the "first" owner and live the dream!
4. Complete with box, papers, hang tag, booklets, calendar, etc.
Something interesting about me is I prefer trades. PM me and let's see what you have!
I am in no rush to sell this one as it is as close to a "keeper" as I can imagine.
Price: $30,000
Here is a link to a recent example for sale on the Rolex forums for price comparison:
