For sale, a Seiko Samurai Prospex Automatic Dive Watch with Blue Dial and Rubber Dive Strap, model reference #SRPB53. Case diameter 43mm excluding crown and crown guards. Wears like a 42mm. Case height is 13.5mm. Lug to lug length is 48mm.
Purchased January 24, 2020 from an AD. Has been carefully worn indoors 4 or 5 times. It is in virtually new-like mint condition. In fact, you could not tell this one from brand new even close up. Original box, booklets, warranty papers, etc. to accompany, exactly in the condition received from the factory. Purchase this beauty and you’ll have that “new watch unboxing” experience when you receive it.
This is a new version of the Seiko automatic dive watch (nicknamed the Samurai) featuring a Seiko 23 Jewel automatic (4R35) movement, date display, super luminous hands and raised markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The blue plastic is still on the case back.
The 4R35 Seiko movement is a self-winding workhorse and can be hand wound and hacked. The movement has a 41-hour power reserve according to specs. Everything works as it should.
Comes on it's very supple factory Seiko dive strap with a heavy, solid steel tang buckle and steel signed keeper. And, like the original Samurai the blue dial has a stunning waffle pattern texture. The hands are patterned after those found on the Seiko Monster series. The Pepsi bezel with its contrasting red and blue segments is very sharp-looking.
