I have a few watches that have been sitting in my watch drawer that I never got around to pursuing. I’ll post them all over the next little while. I’d like to sell them to a forum member who will appreciate them and put them to use!
This is a vintage Breitling chronograph. Reference number on the caseback says 2111 Chronomatic. Very, very cool retro watch with striking dial. The watch runs but I can’t get the pusher to start the chrono. I’ve never brought it to a watchmaker to fix it. Crystal is also cracked near the bottom. I purchased this from the estate of a Bulgarian gentleman in Ottawa. His wife said the watch worked and he wore it until 1989 after which point it sat in a drawer. Obviously this watch is being sold as is. They are extremely pricey in working condition I’m told, but I confess to know nothing about Breitling in general. I’m pricing it to sell ASAP at $1799. I’m also open to trades for Seiko, Tudor, Heuer and anything interesting.
Addendum: Sorry for the poor pictures. I took them just now and realized when reviewing them that some of the numbers on the tachometer ring look like they’ve faded or disappeared but this is not the case!
