From my personal collection, this Heuer 980.006 Jumbo Quartz Rolex Submariner-inspired vintage dive watch is for sale. It's developed an amazing patina from the tritium material used on the original dial and hands. I first discovered this watch reading Jason Heaton's article on Hodinkee, which made me instantly fall in love with this watch (https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/marking-time-with-a-humble-heuer).
This watch and other similar variants gave Heuer more longevity to survive the Quartz crisis up until Tag aquired them.
Why is it for sale? Honestly, because my wife is pregnant and I'm saving for a bigger, better timepiece that I can hand down to the kiddo. Sad to see this one go but I hope it lands on the wrist of a humble and avid collector.
These watches are growing in value and the jumbo sized one are becoming a rarity. Please feel free to PM me any questions.
