Hi folks,

Here is my next watch for sale. I just picked up a new one, so had to pick one to move out.

This is a special edition from Lew and Huey (now Janis Trading) out of the US. The watch was created as a special project through Watchuseek after the James Bond movie 'Spectre' - obviously inspired (a little tongue-in-cheek) by Omega's Seamaster 300 James Bond edition. The details on this watch are a lot of fun (have a look at the case back details). For Lew and Huey, 'Orthos' is their own model which served as a framework for this project watch. It was a thoroughly enjoyable project to have been a part of, the product is excellent, and I enjoyed making it part of my 'rotation' - but having just added a new one to the group, I had to pick one to go. With reluctance, I am parting with my Blue Date Commander 300, one of only 20 made.

Briefly, this model is an automatic diver powered by a Seiko NH35 movement, with a domed, antireflective-coated sapphire crystal. Has a unidirectional bezel, stainless case and bracelet, and is WR to 300m. Full specs are listed on the Lew and Huey/Janis website for their Orthos model

The condition of this watch is quite good, with a couple of tiny hairline scuffs on the case back, and a bezel ding at the :07 position (pictured under harsh light below). The bracelet itself is immaculate, as I never actually wore it except to size it when it first arrived. I have worn it exclusively with the matching NATO strap. I am keeping the worn NATO, but an identical unworn one will be included with the sale (pictured).

The watch will come with everything that was with it when I received it - watch, travel case, bracelet (all extra links included). I am also including a brand new matching NATO strap which was the result of a side project as this watch was being produced

The Orthos models are a bit over $900 Canadian ($674 USD) new from Lew and Huey/Janis.

I am asking $650 Canadian for local purchase, or $670 shipped anywhere in Canada. Reasonable offers are of course welcome, as are questions.

Bump with clarification - the 'one in twenty made' refers to one of twenty 'blue, date' models. There were four options, with black dial, blue dial, date, no date. Only twenty of these ones were made. Sorry about that - I am unable to edit the original post.

Also, price drop - $545 shipped in Canada.
