Another CWC first. Full set and in excellent condition with only minor flaws. November 2015 warranty card. This limited edition of 2016 pieces was to commemorate the rio 2016 Olympics. It was a well received LE with the significant changes being the case back engraving and the subdials are made from the same bronze, silver, and gold as the Olympic medals awarded at the games. The subdials really shine in person.

A review :

Full set including box, papers, shipping container with hang tag, etc.

Priced firmly at $5000 shipped and insured and favorable trades considered.

I have many forum references if that is a concern.

Thanks,

Josh

bump. really amazing watch in person.....fully adjustable clasp which is just as good as the Rolex submariner glide lock. These are usually only found on the more expensive seamaster models.

bump.

Edit: I just had a completely out of left field complement on this watch at work. Mark that down as one of the only times I have ever got a compliment on a watch in the wild. Interesting.

Bump. Anyone got a cool chronograph or dive watch for trade?

I've been wearing it and it has a couple more swirls on it so reducing to 4800.

Hey guys. I'm going to bottom line this watch at 4500 cash.

I would consider adding cash in trade for a well priced Panerai, rolex sports model, omega limited edition/tintin, Tudor black bay chrono, or zenith el primero.

I really like this watch and wear it myself. Hodinkee has praised this limited edition /2000 as being done very well by keeping it simple (review in original post). The bronze/silver/gold subdials are the only real big change. Usually Olympics watches are too colorful and over the top but these subdials really pop and give the mark2 some much needed bling and shine in an otherwise understated sports watch. I really wish omega would make more limited editions like this.

So I will continue to wear and enjoy this watch and bump it ocasionlly but the price is firm and priced only about 500 higher than a base model on the pre owned market. And yes..this limited edition also retails for several hundred above the base model mark 2.

Thanks!

Josh

I forgot to mention that it also looks great on straps...ill throw in this Hirsch croc if you like. What a stunner.

Have my eye on something else. Make me a reasonable offer :). Still considering trades. The mark 2 is such an underappreciated watch. Beautiful design and glide lock clasp...chronograph with a date function. What more can you ask? Also the first time this LE has appeared on CWC! Try finding one at an AD!

Only a few on chrono24 and priced $1000 below..
