Up for consideration is a great daily timepiece from the brand that provides incredible bang for buck.
Measuring in at 42mm x 51.4mm x 16.5mm, the watch seems much larger than it is, yet wears comfortably on my 7.5” wrist.
A leg up on the time and date version of the Spirit lineup, this chronograph model takes traditional features from aviators’ watches and combines it with state-of-the-art horological technologies.
The L688.4 column wheel movement powering the watch is equipped with silicon balance-springs and is COSC certified, with a 66 hour power reserve
The watch is in near mint condition with maybe one fleabite on the buckle and a hairline or two on the polished bits, though I can’t find them anymore.
Running at +1/4s a day, the watch functions as it should and is sure to impress.
The date function is activated by the pusher at 10.
Retail on this model is $4100.
