So, I am putting this out as a feeler and will decide what to do depending on what, if any, offers I receive. I have re-made my watch box in the last few weeks (added a TAG Heuer Monaco, a UTS 500M diver, a Speedmaster 861 Moonwatch and a couple of others, as well as subtracting a SMP Chrono and a B&R Chrono). However, the re-make is not yet complete and so I want to offer up four more watches here in trade, either individually or preferably collectively.

Please note that the Helson & TAG Heuer pics are representative at present, borrowed from the web, as I do not have pics handy right now.

Finally, I do not have funds to add unless it is an offer that I simply cannot refuse, and I will leave it to you to decide what such an offer would look like (I like Panerai, Rolex, Omega … LOL).

So, here goes:

-TAG Heuer F1 black-face chrono, complete with box and papers, on a SS bracelet. Condition is ~90% and it has just had the battery replaced, all seals / gaskets done, and the chrono pushers replaced. It runs perfectly and everything re-sets to zero. Trade value of ~$500.00.

-Helson Sharkmaster 1000 blue-face dive watch with case, SS mesh bracelet (and diver extension), rubber dive strap, strap tool, CD and ownership documents. Condition is ~90% and the watch runs flawlessly, almost within COSC specifications. Trade value ~$600.00.

-UTS 500M dive watch with Pelican case, ownership card and warranty, SS mesh bracelet and OEM rubber dive strap. Condition is~90% and the watch runs flawlessly, as does everything that comes out of Herr Spinner's shop in Germany. Trade value ~$1200.00.

-Archer Aero II. Archer Aero II. Look up Al Jenskey’s work on his website to read more on this watch. It is an incredible timepiece in all respects. Here are some details from the Archer website:

-German made 316 Stainless steel
- 42 mm diameter not including crown
- bead blasted finish
- 45 degree profiled bezel
- Approx. 12 mm thick
- Sapphire glass main crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside and outside to reduce glare and reflections
- Sapphire glass exhibition back so the movement can be observed
- Large pilot crown for easy winding and setting
- 22 mm Jurgen's pilot strap (brown or black available)
- Strap attaches to case with spring bars
- Water resistance rated to 50 meters - all watches are tested to –0.2 Bar and +6 Bar
Movement:
- Swiss made ETA 6497/6498 movements
- Hour and minutes on primary dial
- Sub-seconds dial at 9 or 6 o’clock
- 18,000 beats per hour
- 48 hour power reserve
- Manual winding
- 17 jewels
- Incabloc shock protection
- Côtes de Genève décoration on plates
- Perlage decoration on pallet-bridge
- Rhodium plating
- Blued screws
- Snailing decoration on crown and ratchet wheels
Dial/Hands:
- Super-LumiNova C1 dial
- Super-LumiNova C1 hands

Please note that I have had mine slightly modified, replacing the onion crown with a standard crown. The condition is 92% plus, less the current strap, which while having lots of life left in it, is probably at 85%, although I would also be providing a brand new replacement leather strap, also. It comes with the hand-made wooden watch box as well as the manufacturing DVD that Al does with all of his hand-made watches. Trade value ~$500.00

Please note that I will give preference to packaging all four in one trade and I would give a better trade value for all four in a package (i.e. I would give you a better deal). The trade values noted above are approximations and subject to discussion and negotiation.

A few final points:

-I live in Ottawa and so would prefer to keep the deal face-to-face, which means I can go as far afield as Montreal or Toronto (which I travel to on a fairly frequent basis, although if it is an off couple of weeks, meeting at some point in between may be necessary). This is not to say that I would not do a mail-trade, as long as I know you and / or you have impeccable and independently verifiable references, preferably with well-known people here at CWC. I have over 250 online watch-related transactions with perfect Canadian and international references, and will provide them on an as-required basis.

-I would consider lower value / multiple watch trade offers with or without cash on your part, although no digitals (unless it is a Froggy … LOL). There are no sacred cows here (I like pretty much any and all watches), apart from not insulting my intelligence with ridiculous offers (hence my keeping this off of places like WUS et dans la famille). I do like Panerai, Omega, Rolex, Hamilton, Oris, etc, but any and all will be considered.

-I can provide more pictures, if and as necessary. I am not a great photographer, but can get across the general idea, depending on what you are looking for in terms of detail.

The best way to reach me is via work: james.debruin@forces.gc.ca . This is my work email address and I carry my work BB pretty much 24/7.

I am in no particular rush nor have a pressing need to make a trade and so can and will wait for the right deal ... if any.

Thanks very much and if you do have any offers, up or down, please fire away.

Best regards,

James
