As some of you may know, I decided to go back to school, and that $90,000 tuition isn't going to pay itself, so the collection is on the block.
Selling my 127 was tough. I believe it may be similar to those that have lost a limb. I can still feel all 47mm of its glory on my wrist still. *wiping away tear*
Going down from 15 to 2 watches was a difficult choice, but for the moment I believe I am keeping the white dial PAM188 and the Rolex 116300 (both on the right). That being said, it's not set in stone.....
There is more to come, but these are a few of the watches that are up for sale. And a couple accessories at the end.
Shown:
Panerai 161 - Complete - on SS/Ti bracelet
500 made. $8,500
Panerai 170 - Complete - on SS/Ti bracelet
300 made (One of the rarest Panerai ever produced) Original Tritium Antracite dial. $9,900
Rare 1969 Tissot T.12 Seastar - Watch only. Original Tritium Dial. Internally rotating Bezel. $2,500
1964 Rolex 6694 on OEM SS band. Damiani Certificate appraised at $5,800. Sale $2,500
DLC Panerai 112 - complete- comes with original sales receipt from Watchfinder for $6,700. Sale $5,500
Breitling Jupiter - Complete - comes with 2 bezels. $2,500
Panerai 380 (n-series 2011) Watch only. Depends on the watch/strap combo. Price starts at $4,800.
Generally I am doing all cash sales. Though open to trades in the Rolex Submariner/GMT family as I'm considering that as an alternative to one of the two watches I plan on keeping. The other watch I've considered is a used standard Omega DSOTM.
I'm afraid those are the only trades I'll be entertaining for the moment.
I have plenty of more photos of the watches with their respective sets. So if you see something you like, flip me a note and we can take it from there.
For those that like accessories, I'll be posting in the accessory section shortly, but I have hundreds of straps, and boxes for Panerai, Rolex, AP, Vacheron Constantin and even an ultra rare A-series Panerai box!
