Hello all- I’ve been bitten by the watch bug and looking to buy my first “luxury” piece. Omega speedy, Tudor black bay are on my list but always wondering if I should just hold off for a Rolex and go from there (Explorer, Datejust or…the Sub!).

Any specific one? I like the speedmaster pro 42 in but my wrist size is 6.5” and perhaps the 38 in is a better fit.

Speedmaster 38 (324.30.38.50.01.001).

Tried these in person today. The 42 is a much better fit. Learned about the sapphire and hesalite and that these are manual, which is a nice touch. Beautiful watches!
