300m of water resistance at under 11mm with a clear case back?
Not often you see that spec but here we are. Powered by the in-house DUW6101 movement, the Nomos club sport is a remarkable piece of German watchmaking. Not to be confused with the entry level club campus from Nomos. The DUW family of movements represents a major step up from the zeta, the latter of which is just an auto adaptation of the alpha movement. More on the movement here: https://nomos-glashuette.com/en/manufacture/caliber/duw-6101
In true German fashion the watch is subdued, but thanks to the simple language, can be matched with any strap from your drawer. While most GADA watches adopt the tooly look, Nomos has chosen the more refined route.
This watch presents in very good condition and remains under warranty with an original purchase of June 2022. The watch is high polish so close inspection with a loupe should reveal hairline scratches, there is one scratch visible to the naked eye on the side of the lug at 1:00 pm, unfortunately I couldn’t capture it with my phone camera, though I have captured the lug from multiple angles - *Edit* black mark seen on the lug in one picture is just reflection.
The set includes the Nomos box (outer cardboard box missing), the warranty card, manuals and also the receipt from Classic Creations. OEM Nomos strap is unworn. The strap currently on the watch is also unworn and included. Lastly, a perlon strap and fkm rubber strap (not pictured) are included.
I have worn this watch almost exclusively on a rubber strap during the summer and aftermarket leather in the winter.
Key specs:
Case: 42mm
Lug to lug: 51.5mm
Lug Width: 20mm
Thickness: 10.5mm
Retail on the watch is over $5,600 (Ontario taxes in) – I am asking $3,125 + shipping from Ottawa, or F2F.
