Hi all. Payment via EMT please. I might entertain trades but about the only thing I'm looking for is the new PAM 5218 or possibly the 2025 - you never know though. Thanks.
So, this was a grail of mine for some time. Dr. Ludwig Oechslin is definitely onto some Leonardo da Vinci type brainwaves. True watch nerds should google this chap is you don't know who he is. His thing (among others) is figuring out the mathematics of celestial complications and translating those into the fewest number of parts/gears possible (at least for O&J watches).
I'll post a link to the watch and a video of the model in action. I hope this is allowed as it really helps illustrate what's going on here.
As for my watch, as much as I like it, it just doesn't get the time it deserves on my wrist. Plus, my wife deserves a bathroom renovation so I figure I can let a few things go to help ease the cost. Lol!
The watch is in excellent condition except there is either something underneath the crystal or a small scratch between the 8 and 9 near the edge (it is visible in my pics near the moon).
Full kit - cardboard box, handmade leather wrap, papers, etc. I am also including an extra sturgeon skin strap (it has been worn but has lots of life left - these are $250 USD new).
In the picture of one of the documents that comes with the watch I have cropped out my personal address from the top and there are extra straps listed - a Terra and a Black. These are not included as they were for another timepiece so please do not ask for them - I paid extra and one was owed. Thanks.
The retail on this piece is currently $10,700 CHF for export customers. This is $18,732.83 CAD with the current exchange of 1.75073. If I recall correctly I spent another $1K to $2K on taxes, etc, during import.
There is warranty until May 2026.
Also, as this model is made for where you live geographically, you would likely have to send it to O&J to have them change out the right part for your address. This is dependant on just how precise you want the watch to be of course. I live in Atlantic Canada. They do state on their site it is something they do but they do not state if or what the cost would be. I will say that I have multiple pieces from O&J and they have been excellent to deal with.
I'm not 100% sure what to ask here as this is not something you see here everyday and there is about a 3 month lead time on new orders so lets list this at $14,750 shipped and insured.
Specs:
Length of day and nighttime for a selected location, sunset, sunrise, solar noon, moon phase, sun and moon position in the sky, date, hour, and minute.
Case in Grade 5 titanium 40mm | Dial in dark blue, which changes to violet and eggplant color, markers in brass | Hour and minute hand in lightly-polished brass | Daytime in brass, nighttime in dark blue purple patina | Sun in hammered 24-karat yellow gold | Moon in hammered platinum PT950 |
Date disk in dark blue purple patina, date in brass | Ulysse Nardin UN-320 | Dark blue (Enzian) Ecopell leather strap and leather pouch handmade by Sabina Brägger | Warranty two years from time of purchase.
First link is the watch on the O&J site.
Second link is a demonstration of the features - very cool! Please watch the video as the look of the watch changes with the seasons and the video shows it perfectly.

Sorry,
Couple pics.
