Listing my Omega Seamaster 166.010. This is a rare 1970 Seamaster with the Constellation movement, Calibre 564 in-house Omega movement. The 1970 Seamaster with the 564 movement is the only Seamaster reference of this era with the "Chronometer Officially Certified" dial. The watch was serviced by the previous owner just prior to him selling it. I purchased it 6 months ago. The watch is in near mint condition for its age. The dial is in perfect condition with no marks or imperfections. The acrylic cystal is also without any marks or scratches. The lugs are very thick and sharp, and have a few marks here and there, which reflect that it’s unpolished. The watch is pretty heavy and robust. The rice bead bracelet is quite tight and has very little stretch for its age. It's a full size bracelet and is currently on the smallest micro hole link for my wrist. It’s a 36mm, not including the crown, although the thick lugs make it wear larger. The crown is omega signed and is a quickset date feature (crazy to think that Omega was 10 years ahead of Rolex on the creation of a quickset date feature). Watch is telling absolutely perfect time. These Seamasters are extremely rare and seldom come up for sale. To my knowledge this model was only produced in 1970, and is the only Seamaster with the Constellation movement, the famous Calibre 564. The pictures don't do it justice. This one has to be seen in the flesh. The silver sunburst dial is nothing short of stunning.
Here’s a review of the watch, where the author explains the watch better than I ever can, and at the bottom he lists the approximate value of it in 2015.
