Omega Seamaster Professional Diver 300 ref. 2254.50. Though originally overshadowed by the more popular "Bond" Seamaster references, the 2254.50 has become a modern classic that is appreciated by watch enthusiasts worldwide. It's also a robust and practical piece that represents a tribute to Omega's rich maritime heritage. Also referred to as the "Peter Blake" or "Schwerty".
Calibre 1120 automatic chronometer. 44 hour power reserve. 300m / 1000ft water resistance. Domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Anecdotally, time keeping is within spec.
41mm case, 20mm lug width. Serial in the 8145XXXX range.
Dial and hands are excellent. The uni-directional dive bezel is also in very good condition and functions properly.
Original 1610/930 bracelet and genuine black Tropic strap included. Bracelet currently sized for a 7" wrist. Though it did not come with additional links when I purchased it, I do have a few extra links from other 1610/930 bracelets that could be included over and above.
Along with an Aqua Terra GMT, this watch has been my travel companion for several years. As such, it has not been a safe-queen. On wrist it looks very good; however, up close and under loupe both the case and bracelet do show some light scratches and minor imperfections. A sympathetic polish would make this piece look like new again.
Sold watch + original Omega red box only (inner pillow missing). No outer box, manuals, or cards.
Looking for a straight sale on this one. Asking $3899 + shipping via Flagship. F2f in the London area also possible.
Cheers!
