Available today is this discontinued model of the iconic Omega Speedmaster. This Ref. 3570.50.00 is the more historically accurate version of Omega’s famous Moonwatch, featuring the domed Hessalite crystal collectors love. This watch is sold with inner and outer box, Pictograms Card, Open Warranty card as well as a costco warranty card.
This Speedy is powered by the now discontinued manual-wind rhodium plated Omega Calibre 1861 which ticks away at a frequency of 21,600 beats per hour. This 48h power reserve movement is very reliable and has been serving moonwatches since 1996. The watch also features the more comfortable 1998/849 bracelet that was in production through 2014 with pins rather than screws and is sized for a 7inch wrist. There is a total of 7 removable links.
This watch has been worn and shows signs of wear on the bracelet and clasp and watch head. Nothing significant to disclose, no major dings or fleabites just normal wear and tear nothing that couldn’t be polished out should the buyer desire. The service history on this watch is unknown but it is running extremely well and keeping perfect time on the timegrapher between -2 and 0 seconds per day. Most importantly the hessalite is in very good condition with no significant scratches.
