Offering what is arguably the best version of the Speedmaster out there. The First Omega In Space! Coming in at a perfect case size of 40mm compared to its larger and less versatile 42mm Pro.
The FOIS was inspired by astronaut Wally Schirras during the Sigma 7 mission, wearing the beloved CK2998, which predates the Moonwatch by almost a decade! It’s the perfect balance between the Moonwatch, CK2998 and Ed White.
This is a discontinued numbered edition model. It comes as a full set with double box + sleeve + papers + price tag. In superb condition with no dings or major scratches and super clean original leather strap + clasp. Sapphire crystal is pristine and bezel is like new!
Watch was recently serviced at Omega service center for brand new seals and pressure test. Running perfectly at +2s/d with chrono functioning as it should and second hand aligns perfectly at 12 o’clock. Watch is unpolished!
** EXTRA ** This watch typically comes with just the leather strap and buckle. But included here is an original Omega 1565/976 (19mm) brushed and polished bracelet. Comes with full links and newest style screws to remove/add links. Best part, it is tapered from 19mm at lugs to 16mm at clasp.
