Selling the absolutely stunning Omega “Grey Side of the Moon” ref. 311.93.51.99.001. This watch is still new to me, but pro or con depending on your view, I’ve never received so many compliments on a watch before. I’d love to keep this watch but I need the space and funds for another incoming.

No introduction needed for this watch I’d expect, but this is a fully grey ceramic Speedy powered by an automatic 9300 movement. Unlike the more common DSOTM, this watch has a grey platinum dial in a nearly matte ‘blasted’ finish. The markers and hands are all finished in a matching grey. The dial and case are complimented by a grey croc leather strap with full ceramic, scratch resistant buckle. The GSOTM has classic styling that works equally well with suits and jeans.

Depending on the light, the ceramic finishing varies between steel grey and nearly black tungsten in colouring, but without the weight of either. The crown is absolutely stunning and made of ceramic, as are the chrono pushers. The size is also a beautiful surprise of the watch, and its fits subjectively the same as a 42mm diameter, 13 mm height watch despite its 44.25mm diameter. The inflated diameter is largely a result of what are effectively extended, but very subtle crown guards along the side of the case.

This particular still watch looks brand new, as expected from a ceramic watch. The only two elements that can wear, the strap and anti-reflective coatings are in excellent shape. There are no marks on the crystal and the strap is ~90%. The 9300 movement is spot on.

Comes with complete set: piano black presentation box, outer paper box, warranty card (under Omega 4-year warranty until June 2019), pictogram, manual, and unused polishing cloth (not seen in pics). Current MSRP for this model is $14,200.

Asking $8400 shipped in Canada. F2F in Toronto welcome. Only trade considered is a 2016-2017 Rolex ceramic sub 116610.

Did you know the Omega 9300 movement has an independent hour hand setting, like that used in GMT watches? Makes for easy changes across time zones.
