Available for sale today is this beautiful example of the rare Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch ref. 3572.50.00 A.K.A the Hessalite Sandwhich. This watch brings together the best of both worlds by retaining the true to the original, domed plexiglass crystal on the front of the watch, whilst also featuring a sapphire display caseback allowing the user the opportunity to sit and stare at the cal 1861 tick away. This watch is sold as a complete set and includes the watch, all links, both inner and outer boxes, warranty card (undated), pictograms card, instruction manual and hang tag.
Condition on this piece is very very good considering this watch is no less than 21 years old (produced from 1996-2003). There are some hairline scratches to be found throughout the bracelet and clasp and there are 2 slightly deeper dings on the 9 o’clock side of the case. The alternating high polish and satinated finishes throughout the watch are still very clear and apparent. Overall I would rate this condition a 7/10.
