For those of you who know Orient, you will know that Orient makes affordable mechanical watches, and is now owned by Seiko. Orient watches are made in Japan and provide incredible value.
Orient Star is a tier above the base Orient watches. The fit and finish is just a notch above the introductory level Orient watches. This is the Orient Star WZ0351FD, also known as the Revolver. I purchased this watch about eight years ago. I have the original hang tag which puts the MSRP at 75,000 yen or about $850 Canadian.
This watch is 43.5mm in diameter and 52mm lug to lug. It includes the original stainless steel bracelet with dive extension and two extra links. I think the bracelet on this watch is incredible. You will note how well it integrates with the case at the lugs. The watch has a unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved numbers and a lume pip at 0. The crystal is a form of hardlex but is AR coated.
Many Orient movements have power reserve indicators and this watch is no exception. The automatic movement also had a date feature at 9. The movement does not hack or hand wind. The lume is gorgeous and you can see from the silver borders on the indices just how carefully applied it is.
This watch has not been diving and has not seen salt water. It is rated to 200mm and has a screw down crown. It has not been serviced and you would be well advised to have it pressure tested before swimming or diving with it. It keeps good time.
Included are the original box, hang tag, manuals and warranty, and two extra links with pins.
There are some minor scratches on the watch from desk diving. Otherwise, you will see that this watch is in beautiful condition. I am only selling it because it hasn't been worn by me in well over a year.
I am asking $600 shipped in Canada and am open to reasonable offers. I accept PayPal or Interac Direct Payment. I have bought and sold on Ebay (deswayze) and CanWatchCo before and have positive references.
