Yea. I'll be straight. I don't want to sell this watch. But with some many great choices, I may consider keeping the 170 instead, despite not having the epic story this watch does.
If you are unfamiliar, so read the post "Save the Daylight". The craziest 8 months I'm had in trying to restore a rare model to original. And restore it has been.
I also have the original 3ct diamond dial Should someone want to keep the story alive!
This was the first year of production, making only 500 units. White dial. Chrono function. And one of the hardest dials to ever be sourced.
All OEM and kept genuine! Was my greatest watch triumph over Panerai who wanted to charge me $3,000 for a dial refresh.
Looking for $7,500 which includes box, booklet, guarantee book, Damiani cert, choice or straps, and a pretty stellar watch story.
Remember this watch had humble beginnings.
But I wasn't gonna let it get lost to fake parts and obscurity. I have all Panerai paperwork for the OEM dial they sent me directly.
