Ok, So this is one of 777 examples produced to match the Limited Edition Porsche Cayman S Edition 1 that it came with. Actually not sure if it "came with" or you had to purchase it...
This was never ever removed from its box until 2000 when I bought it... and then forgot about it....
It was never worn. never sized... sitting lonely. The car owner sold the car off years ago and didn't care to own the watch anymore. They were rare in the market when I got it, and were selling for thousands when I researched it.
Five years later... I took it out of the box and then discarded the box. The vinyl had dried up, and was disintegrating. Pity.
I had to peel the caseback sticker off to open the screws to put in a fresh battery.
It is a beautiful, and very typical PD watch. Porsche is still doing these Limiteds, but today they get $15k for the watches... lol.
Different world.
I know if I find a guy with the car who wants one he will pay well for it, but for now CWC is my only market.
No box. No papers. One owner... before me.
Fresh battery... although forgive me if I left a few marks from the changing.
$1550 on your wrist anywhere.
