A friend brought me this watch a couple months ago to tell him if it was a replica or genuine. I had never even seen or heard of a Jupiter, but the watch was genuine without a doubt.

I made an offer on the watch, and spent the last couple months having the watch repaired as the alarm function was not working, the watch had no box or papers, and the bezel, like most Jupiter left much to be desired.

Fast forward 2 months and:

The watch comes with full authentication from Damiani and a $5,800 replacement value appraisal.

The watch was fully serviced. All functions working as intended.

Full double boxed Breitling set as well as all original booklets including original user manual, original slide rule and original slide rule instructions.

Best of all, I was able to finally locate an excellent condition Bezel which I will have mounted this week!

The watch is unpolished at this time. And I am going to have its first polish once i mount the new Bezel.

Damn $2,850.....that was one ambitious Hail Mary.

The watch is more complete that most. I recently installed the new Bezel ring with I think is a marked improvement. And the watch was recently serviced to get the alarm function back on the menu.

$2,000 Cash FTF or will consider select trades.

If this watch wasn't quartz at 43mm, this would be selling for double or triple the value.

If you have $2k for a watch, you will be hard pressed to find more watch for your dollar.

For an extra $100 you can have the older beater Bezel as well.

This is a lot of watch for the money. Someone is adding both a rare and very unique piece to their collection with this little number.

Bump. The Jupiter remains. As does the $2,000 price. Unless you just want the older Bezel, in which case I'll knock another $150 off to resell the newer one.

They are tough to come by, so I think it's worth the extra coin.

Free polish upon request. Though if it doesn't sell this week, think I'll have to break my own rule and just polish anyways.

I do prefer normally to have the new owner make that call. But it will shine up nice. And don't think it's been polished in the past. So may be due.

Man. People keep flaking on this watch.

But, all the problems are solved. I sold off the Bezel I imported from France. And the watch is now back to its former, albeit slightly more weathered self.

I’m going to have the watch polished this week as i have yet to meet anyone that prefers it unpolished other than myself.

Price drop to $1,600 which still includes the box, booklets, authentication and Damiani appraisal.
