I’m listing a Rolex GMT 1675 for a good friend of mine. He’s not a CWC member nor is he on other watch forums. He purchased the watch 7 years ago and has not had it serviced while in his possession. He wears it in his rotation, and says it keeps accurate time. The first 4 digits of the 7 digit reference number are 1,384,_ _ _ , which dates the watch to either late 1966 or early 1967. Both the reference number and serial number are clearly visible on the case, between the lugs – although you can’t make them out in the pictures below. The caseback is stamped 2nd quarter, 1967 (i.e., II. 67). The watch is fitted on a 7836 bracelet with 282 endlinks and has very minimal stretch. The gilt dial is quite nice, all the lume on the dial and on the hands are 100% intact and fully match each other. The dial does have some small blemishes around the 9 and 10 o'clock and are noticable at some angles but hard to see in the pictures below. The case is in great condition. It has previously been polished and shows light wear from use. The bezel is something for conversation. It has faded to a gold/light-brown colour that matches the colour of the patina on the hands and markers. It’s quite unique, but the seller cannot say for sure what the original colour of the bezel was. Nor can I. It is very difficult to discern. That’s all I know about the watch. I’m no expert. Asking $25,000.

Withdrawn. I will close this thread as the watch, as it is now, is no longer for sale. I am bringing it back to the owner tomorrow as he's decided to sell it with its original faded Pepsi bezel. Apparently he used the bezel shown in the above pics on the watch because it he liked it better than the Pepsi, and thought it would fetch a better price, given that (he felt) it was more unique and rare. It turns out the opposite was true. Hence I'll bring it to him tomorrow and he'll have its original Pepsi bezel inserted. I'll re-list the watch here tomorrow on a new thread. Thanks.
Hi again, I just want to make a correction to my previous bump. I actually do not know if the Pepsi bezel is original to the watch. But I will know tomorrow when I see him, and will be 100% honest and provide full disclose once I do know. To this point I've been fully transparent and honest about this watch to the best of my abilities. Worst case scenario, is that not only is the bracelet not original to the watch (as I've disclosed in the original listing) but the bezel may also not be original to the watch. All this will be factored into the price for anyone who's interested in making an offer. Lastly I just wanna mention that I do have many references and have never had one bad deal. I actually have a spreadsheet of every watch I've sold, with the person's contact and email. Which I use as references if anyone wants them.
