Rolex 1675 GMT

I’m listing a Rolex GMT 1675 for a good friend of mine. This is the same watch that I previously listed here on CWC. The owner said he acquired the watch with two bezels. I asked him if this bezel is original to the watch and he said as far as he knows it is. He’s not a CWC member nor is he on other watch forums. He purchased the watch 7 years ago and has not had it serviced while in his possession. He wears it in his rotation, and says it keeps accurate time. The first 4 digits of the 7 digit reference number are 1,384,_ _ _ , which dates the watch to either late 1966 or early 1967. Both the reference number and serial number are clearly visible on the case, between the lugs – although you can’t make them out in the pictures below. The caseback is stamped 2nd quarter, 1967 (i.e., II. 67). The watch is fitted on a 7836 bracelet with 282 endlinks and has very minimal stretch (which is obviously not the original bracelet reference that came with the watch). The gilt dial is quite nice, all the lume on the dial and on the hands are 100% intact and fully match each other. The dial does have some small blemishes around the 9 and 10 o'clock and are noticable at some angles but hard to see in the pictures below. And even harder to see when outdoors. They are mainly noticeable in certain lighting conditions and at certain angles. The case is in great condition. It has previously been polished and shows light wear from use. He’s asking $20,000, or best offer. Please message me if you’d like to see more pictures or videos of the watch, or if you have any questions.

Bump. I received a question yesterday asking if the back of the pepsi insert was red, and if it was then it should be period correct. I will confirm that the back of the pepsi insert is red. Also, I just read on The Rolex Forum that the back of the pepsi inserts from the mid 60's to early 70's were red. I don't know if that is true or confirmed. But the watch is from 1967, so if it is true, then there's a good chance that the bezel could have been original to the watch. Thanks.

Bump. $19,000

Bump with price reduction. Also, a forum member brought it to my attention that the 7836 bracelet was introduced circa 1967, so it can possibly be original to the watch. Also, the back of the pepsi insert is red, which is also period correct for 1967.
