Posting a feeler to gauge interest. I am listing an all orginal and unpolished Rolex 1680 with the Mark IV dial, serial 3.0 million.
This is the most flawless example I have seen in person or on the internet. The dial is in pristine condition with the hands and indices aged evenly to a warm, creamy color. The case is untouched - lugs and thick and retain their chamfers and the crown guard is crisp. The bezel has faded ever so slightly to lighter shade of black.
The original 9135 bracelet (stamped "Pateted" on the diver's extension) has recieved the Michael Young treatment and tightened. Held on the watch by 380 endlinks. The bracelet has not been worn since I have repaired it. Thicker springbars will be required to hold bracelet/endlinks to the case, which I not gotten around to purchasing.
The watch was sent to for servicing in early Q1 2017. The service is covered under warranty up until April 2019 - service card included of course. Only the movement was service and the crystal replacement. I am still in possession of the original and will include it in the sale.
I am looking for $29,650CAD firm, shipped anywhere in Canada. May consider Daytona 116500 or 116520 plus cash as trades.
