I have a stunning 1603 Datejust for sale, this is a grey sunburst sigma dial with white gold markers. This watch dates to 1973 and the dial is in incredible shape, the markers are pristine and reflect light like mirrors. The lume plots have a custard colour and are all fully intact. The hands show no signs of tarnish at all (possibly service hands). The case show signs of wear but no major dings or flea bites and no tarnish or rust. The lugs appear even and to my eye not over polished. The crown is authentic Rolex as is the mint acrylic crystal. The movement is keeping excellent time, the watch was serviced an an excellent watchmaker here in Victoria recently. I purchased the Rolex jubilee bracelet separately and it is not original to the watch. The bracelet is a 1980s with 555 end links and is a perfect fit. The bracelet has 21 links (I believe that is one short) and should easily fit a 7.5 inch wrist. The bracelet has typical flex from wear but is totally serviceable for daily wear. This Datejust was a total find but it must unfortunately go. The grey dial and gold markers are really special and I’m sad to see this go. This sale is for the watch and jubilee bracelet only.
