Hi CWC,
Up for sale in a beautiful Day Date 36mm Ref. 18238
This is the double quick set model, not to be confused with the 18038
Has my personal favorite dial, white Roman. I find that it looks much more modern and newer than the index dials on these older 5-digit models
Overall in nice condition, minimal scratches and looks great on the wrist.
Up close, there are a couple small dents (pictured)
It’s been polished a few times but still has plenty of life. You can see the coronet on the hidden clasp isn’t as prominent as an unpolished example, but it’s a gold “blob” like some models. I’d say it’s a bit over polished but not horrible for its age.
Lugs are not bad, the crown on the case is over polished and barely visible.
Bracelet has some stretch but once again, not bad for a watch on this age
It is an A serial watch, which dates it to 1999 (one of the later 18238 models before being replaced with 118238)
Wonderful unisex watch, my old lady and myself have both been enjoying this piece. Has enough links to fit my 7” wrist (attached a couple photos for reference)
Asking $19,800 plus shipping or can assist with my insured/overnight shipping for a cost. As usual, I welcome F2F in Vancouver for vetted members. I have plenty of positive feedback. Trades will be considered. Modern Rolex preferred.
