For sale is my Rolex Day-Date 36mm 128239 in White Gold, Fluted Bezel, Blue Ombré Diamond Dial. This model is the latest 36mm Day-Date available at Authorized Dealers with the 3255 movement and the ceramic sleeves between link screws.
This watch is offered as a complete kit (box, warranty card and holder, manual, original links, green tag, white tag & outside sleeve). It was purchased in November 2021 through a Canadian AD and I am the original owner of the watch. The watch is in warranty until November 2026. This Day-Date has been worn in rotation with another 3-5 watches over the course of last 28 months. This Day-Date would be best suited for someone looking for their grail Day-Date to enjoy at a very reasonable price.
I would personally rate the condition of this watch “Great”. Given the softness of gold, lots of hairline scratches are visible in harsh lighting conditions. There are a couple minor imperfections beyond the hairlines; on the fluted bezel around 2 o’clock, and the bottom left lug, on the case side. I will be happy to share additional photos with an interested buyer. All imperfections are part of the natural wear & tear over the ownership period. The watch has never been polished. I would recommend the next owner to wear the watch as-is and enjoy it for the years to come.
The watch currently has 20 links, excluding the end link and the clasp mechanism. It has 7 removable links in the current setup, but comes with 3 additional links in the box. The Watch is full links at 23 links (20+3).
This watch is offered at $42,000 CAD. This price is about $17,000 below today’s MSRP (inc. taxes), and about $10,000 below my original purchase price. I would heavily prefer a cash sale, but will entertain some trades on late SS Rolex models, with cash coming back to my end.
I am happy to meet FTF in Southwestern Ontario (KW, Cambridge, or Guelph). While I am willing to ship the watch insured via Flagship at buyers’ cost, given the size of the deal, I will prefer a FTF. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
