Up for sale is a 1998 Rolex Submariner 14060, T Serial. The watch comes as a complete set - original unnamed warranty paper, inner and outer box, pillow, manuals, and calendar.
I am selling this watch on behalf of a friend, however am in possession of it, personally took all the photos, and will also handle and stand behind the sale. This watch has been in my friend's family since its original purchase.
As a long time collector of 5-digit subs I believe this is an extremely rare package that rarely comes up for sale. Finding a pre-14060M original tritium dial that is just starting to evenly patina, with such a strong case and crown guards, with a complete set including unnamed warranty papers is getting harder and harder. I will not claim unpolished condition as I am not the original owner of the watch but I will let the case, chamfers, and brushing on the lugs in the photos speak for themselves.
The watch has been worn occasionally throughout the years and as such shows small flea bits and some scratches on the sides of the case that I believe have been accurately captured in the photos. There are no significant gouges or deep scratches. The bracelet shows very little stretch as well as light scratching from use/desk diving. Links are 5x5 with 1 in the box.
The crystal is in mint condition and any marks that appear in photos are lint/dust.
I cannot make any claims or guarantees on timekeeping as the recent service receipt has been misplaced. I confirmed that the watch was not refinished or touched up in any way during its last service.
Asking price is $13,500. Would very much prefer a face-to-face on the North Shore in the LMD.
