Up for sale we have a 6117-6400 in excellent all-original condition. A World Time in this condition along with its original bracelet can be very hard to find. Seiko's third iteration of a World Time design came in the form of the 6400. It was available in a few different color ways but, this black dialed variant is the hardest to come by. The dial is a lovely black linen type dial. At its edge is a white 24 hour track that can be used in conjunction with the cities of the world inner bezel to determine the time anywhere in the world at a glance. The hands and applied markers are brightly polished aside from the bold red of the contoured GMT hand. The case offers great vintage appeal through its tonneau style architecture and large 41mm diameter. The crown is set flush against the case, and in the neutral position can be turned in either direction to rotate the inner bezel. This example from December of 1969 is completely original. The case is unpolished with crisp corners. The watch comes on it’s original Seiko signed original bracelet which is in the same excellent condition as the watch. The hacking 6117B is a workhorse movement built to last, and is keeping great vintage time. A Seiko classic that’s sure to be a fast favorite in any collection. Asking $850 obro.
