Seiko Prospex Stainless Steel Baby Tuna with Seiko Automatic SRP637
Seiko Prospex SRP637K1 AKA “Baby Tuna”. or “Monster Tuna” because of the similarities to the original Monsters. Why they called it a Baby I have no idea because the watch is substantial to say the least.
The main feature of this watch is its 60-minute uni-directional rotating dive bezel with a stainless steel protective shroud.
Inside the stainless steel case is a 24-jewel Seiko caliber 4R36 automatic (self-winding) movement that hand winds and is hackable.
A slightly domed Hardlex mineral crystal protests the dial.
Very rare Arabic and English day wheel.
Seiko’s famous LumiBrite luminescent material used on the hands and markers gives the watch exceptional glowing properties at night or in the water.
The screw-down crown is offset at the four o'clock position.
Lug width is 22mm.
Case size is 46.5mm.
Very nice Seiko stainless steel bracelet with dual push-button deployant clasp (and diver extension).
Solid screw-in case back.
Water resistant to 200 meters and meets all requirements to be considered an ISO6425 dive watch.
Watch is in excellent to mint condition.
