For sale is my SRP777 modded with a sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel insert. This is the perfect combo, in my opinion, if you're thinking of using one of these babies as a daily wearer. The package will also include the Seiko OEM bezel insert and the OEM hardlex crystal as shown in the pictures.
The lume pip dot of the original aluminum insert fell off. It will need to be glued back. I haven't tried it myself as I don't want to botch it. I'm thinking, though, that it should be a simple fix with a toothpick and adhesive. Otherwise, both OEM bezel insert and crystal are in excellent shape. You may choose to sell them to gain some from shelling out $ to purchase this piece.
There are superficial hairline scratches at the back lugs, as are expected of strap-changing. A few hairline scratches are also present on the polished area of the 9 o' clock side. Also, I thought I'd highlight something that isn't really as obvious, just so you know what you're getting. There is a tiny nick on the bezel near the 20 marker. It may be a groove caused by the bezel insert swap to the ceramic one. It's only noticeable at certain angles depending on how the light bounces off (again, you wouldn't probably notice it, but thought I'd be as transparent as I can, being the OCD person I am). The silicone strap is flawless.
The ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal costs CAD56.50 a piece at dlwwatches. That's CAD113 for those parts, not to mention the cost of labor (CAD80-100) to install them, for a total of CAD193-213 only for the mod alone.
The sale is for the modded SRP777 on silicone strap, OEM hardlex and bezel insert, double box and pillow as pictured.
I am selling this whole package for a FIRM $425 shipped anywhere in Canada. I believe it is a fair price considering all the mods done and given the condition of the watch. I can also do a F2F in Calgary. Thanks for the interest!
