For sale is one of the most stunning chronos you will find and will fly under the radar of most. If you are unfamiliar with Sinn watches get ready for a treat.
This is a full kit total package containing inner and outer boxes, strap change tool, additional spring bars, OEM blue alligator print leather, OEM light blue/grey NATO, all original manuals and paperwork including warranty card as well as an aftermarket brown leather rally strap that it looks great on. I am asking $2200.00 via EFT on your label or I can quote s&h based on your delivery preferences.
Some watch details taken from A Blog to Watch:
In a 41mm-wide by 17mm-thick steel case, the Sinn 103 has Sinn’s Captive rotating bezel and “Ar” dehumidifying technology (a capsule that absorbs moisture that may leak into the case). Water resistant to 200 meters, the Sinn 103 is also quite anti-magnetic and shock-resistant. At heart, the Sinn 103 is a pilot watch. So, now, you have a pilot watch that makes you think of flying in freezing temperatures.
This blue Sinn 103 A Sa B has an electro-plated blue dial with matching bezel insert. The slight sunburst polish on the dial gives it a slight glossy touch, but the legible hands and hour markers maintain the utilitarian feel of the 103 collection. What I also really like about the Sinn 103 is that it was one of Sinn’s first “all around watches” that were designed for a primary purpose but were also good for a range of environments and uses.
Inside the Sinn 103 A Sa B watch is a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph movement that is nicely decorated and visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. I quite like how the limited edition number of the watch is actually placed on the automatic rotor and not the caseback of the timepiece.
Original MSRP was $2230.00 USD according to this article. I can find one on WUS where the seller is asking $2K USD as his reduced price. There are 2 for sale on Chrono 24 for $4K and $6K CAD respectively so sales examples are not common.
The watch has been worn and I am not the original owner. The blue leather is worn but has lots of life left. The NATO and the leather strap have seen much less use. There are no major issues with the watch to report. There are the standard brushes and rubs typical of limited and casual wear and tear. The back of the lugs have some nicks from straps changes. There is a hairline visible in the right light on the blue bezel between the 50 and 55 marks. Please do not hesitate to ask for more pics, videos, etc. if desired.
Note - I am not interested in any trades as I am selling only to thin the herd out.
