FOR SALE is one 1969 Omega Seamaster 300, ref 166.024. Watch was purchased by me in 2013 from a brick & mortar shop in the Nertherlands and most recently serviced locally in 2016.
This watch features a service dial, hands and case back.
This watch features the venerable Omega Cal. 565 which is at present keeping excellent time.
Condition of the watch is as per the photos below and is excellent, with only light rubs and the usual desk diving marks here and there. No deep scratches in the Omega signed crystal (note the wee omega in the middle). The watch comes with a mesh bracelet with one extension section owing to my gigantic wrists. I shall also be including a NOS Omega signed brown leather bracelet (as-shown).
Of all my watches, this one has gotten the most comments, but its just not getting any wrist time, so its time to find it a new home. I am very partial to a F2F Alberta deal and am located in Edmonon, but willing to drive a few hundred kilometers in any direction. This watch is a beauty and needs to be seen to be appreciated. Please note that the seconds hand on the 565 movements is indirectly driven, so setting the time backwards will cause the second hand to jump sometimes, the watch has been serviced and timed and this is not a defect.
What looks like smudges on the crystal is dust, I used direct sunlight to try to capture all aspects of the watch.
My feedback on this forum is solid, so please deal with confidence.
I would like to realise $4200 from the sale of this watch, with preferred method of payment via EMT. Please feel free to PMme with any questions you may have.
