For sales is my reference 145.022-69ST Calibre 861 1969 “Pre Moon” Speedmaster. This “Pre Moon” 861 including the Omega Hippocampus case back and the dot over 90 bezel.
I purchased this watch from the second-owner who’d been gifted the piece from his father, who had purchased it new. The dial, crystal and hands are original to the watch. When I purchased the watch a few years back I had it serviced and replaced the crown with OEM parts.
The bracelet is a 1171/1 with 633 end links. It’s in very decent shape with minimal stretch. The case hasn’t been polished and nice definition on the lugs. The dial has held up very well, the tritium markers have taken on the vintage patina and the dial itself holds some tropical tones when in the light.
When the watch was gifted to the second-owner the the case back was engraved very lightly above and below the Hippocampus. I have a line on a correct issue case back without engraving for roughly $750.
