For sale is a 1969 Rolex OysterDate Precision 6694 with the original rare tropical dial.
The rare tropical dial is a mistake that Rolex occasionally made through the manufacturing process. This mistake results in the discolouration of the dial going from black to brown due to the sun. These dials are sought after by collectors because Rolex rarely make mistakes in manufacturing.
The piece is all original. I am not 100% sure if the bracelet is original but they do come the same time period so it’s likely to be original as well. Date wheel has open 6’s and 9’s along with flat 3’s.
