SOLD: 1976/77 Datejust 1601 Non Quickset - $5499

Hey folks

Up today I have the perfect foray into the world of vintage rolex or a first luxury timepiece. This watch dates back to approx 1976/77 based on the serial number. I cannot confirm if the watch has been polished or not, so I will err on the side of caution and say it likely has at the Rolex service in 2006

Comes with the bracelet which has a decent amount of stretch per photo

Dial is in great condition with all custard lume plots present .

No service history aside from the service in 2006, however I placed it on the timegrapher and it’s running between +5/+8s a day, which is about +6s a day on average

The markers, handset and coronet don’t seem to have any major signs of blemish which helps it catch and reflect light as well as one could hope.

At 36mm, this is a great daily wearer and will serve its next owner amazingly.
