Hey folks

Up for grabs is my catch and release, Sōkō Frost.

This is a US Only Edition and as such, not available in Canada.

It’s in near mint condition with the only exception being minor surface scratches on the bottom right case side just below the crown and only visible in certain lighting.

This is truly an eye catching piece and the dial changes drastically from a light blue to white depending on lighting conditions.

The watch case features the 62GS style case in stainless steel and showcases Grand Seikos prowess at mastering both case design and dial work.

Much like most GS dials, this one draws from nature and the Japanese Sekki (24 seasons) and is dubbed “Sōkō” - the season with the first frost, hence the frosted ice blue dial tone and texture.

Like all GS pieces, it must be handled and seen in person to appreciate the true beauty and artistry afforded by Grand Seiko.

At 40mm, these bezel-less case makes for an intriguing aesthetic and is very wearable at 12.9mm thickness. The thickness is hidden on the underside of the watch and thanks to the angular slopes of the lugs, the watch sits perfectly on wrist.
