Well,
This is rather hard for me, kinda like having to chose between which kid you are going to send out for adoption but I need to make a man of myself and take the plunge I wear the BR01-92 and BR02-92 constantly while this one gets third place, so this one goes. The BR03-94 Chronograph is an awesome watch, at 42mm, it is VERY wearable and the taller profile vs the BR03-92 gives it the Uuuumpf ! that I find missing from the non-chrono version. If you want to get into B&R at a super reasonable price, now's the chance !
I acquired this watch around June last year from a Timezone member for and excellent price (2600$) and upon reception, I noticed a few (undisclosed of course...) issues with the hands allignement, which I proceed to get corrected immediatly by my trusted watchsmith in Halifax. The warranty card says it was purchased in 2010 and is now serviced, all except for the Dubois-Despraz module that sits over the modified ETA2892 movement, so this watch should be good to go for a looong time before getting checked again.
I would rate the watch at a very conservative 85% TZ rating due to a virtually invisible bump on the corner of the caseback which I noticed about 6 months after getting the watch. The watch keeps time within - 4 to 5 seconds/day and has good power reserve. There are minor hairline swirls on the case and the crystal is flawless. I will deliver it complete with tools, boxes, OEM leather, OEM rubber and un-touched OEM velcro + one of my custom vintage leather straps.
The price for this stunning timepiece is 2100$ + 3% for the paypal fees, shipped to Canada. Face-to-face transaction is OK if you are ready to meet me in the Montreal area.
PM me for any questions, I answer quickly and will disclose any information you require.
Cheers !
the "bump" on the bottom corner... if you can see it.
Thanks for looking !
