SOLD: BNIB 2022 Grand Seiko SBGH295 “Soko Frost” US Special Edition - Full Kit/Unworn

Up for grabs is my catch and release, Sōkō Frost.

Im pretty sure this is the first and only SBGH295 in Canada or even on the forum as it’s a US Only Edition.

I had ordered it a few months ago prior to another release that was later announced (which I also ordered and will likely be keeping) so this one must go.

It’s in unworn condition, unsized and unmarked.

Still in factory wrapping, this is truly an eye catching piece and shows marvellously in many light settings.

This piece in its 62GS style case in stainless steel is one my favourites and showcases Grand Seikos prowess at mastering both case design and dial work.

Much like most GS dials, this one draws from nature and the Japanese Sekki (24 seasons) and is dubbed “Sōkō” - the season with the first frost, hence the frosted ice blue dial tone and texture.

Like all GS pieces, it must be handled and seen in person to appreciate the true beauty and artistry afforded by Grand Seiko.

At 40mm, these bezel-less case makes for an intriguing aesthetic and is very wearable at 12.9mm thickness. The thickness is hidden on the underside of the watch and thanks to the angular slopes of the lugs, the watch sits perfectly on wrist.

Powering the watch is the 36,000 VPH 9S85 movement with a 55hr power reserve.

Trades are welcome as well, with a strong preference given to Grand Seiko, Rolex or Omega (some panerai as well 42mm only)
