As a further consolidation of my collection to get it to what I'm actually wearing, I'm offering my Breitling Blackbird, reference A44359.
Based on the Breitling Chronomat Evolution, the second generation Blackbird grew to almost 44 mm (43.7 to be precise) and features a big date complication.
The stunning brushed finish gives this watch incredible wrist presence without being "blingy"...
The AR coated sapphire crystal compliments the satiny finish overall.
To be honest, 44 mm is a little large for my wrist size but this watch just seems to wear smaller, looks completely appropriate.
This watch is COSC certified and rated to 300 metres/1000 feet.
The watch comes with the inner Bakelite and outer boxes, COSC certificate, warranty booklets and operating instructions, hangtag and extra links.
I purchased this watch from a local (non CWC member) collector. I have his original bill of sale dated 3/2013 for US$4950. He was the second owner.
The previous owner told me that he had just had the watch serviced and based on the condition and operations of it's functions (flawless) I have no reason
to doubt this. He was wearing a lovely Panerai when I picked this up and his only reason for selling was to consolidate for a grail purchase.
I'm wearing the watch as I type this and have to say, this one is going to be tough to let go. Unfortunately, it just doesn't get wrist time enough to justify
holding on to it.
Pardon my less than stellar photography (I should be buying a camera instead of more watches) but this watch really is near perfect.
I'm asking $3450
Prefer F2F in the GTA but willing to ship with EMT payment and good references.
